A common complaint among building managers is that there isn't enough supervision over the quality of work by the hired cleaning crew.
The number one frustration among building managers is that they have to consistently chase the cleaning contractors to ensure they have completed tasks, often in their work schedule but neglected on the day.
“A good cleaning company will clearly outline and delegate a cleaning schedule and training to their team.”
Cleaning should not be done on a reactive basis. The cleaning team have to be motivated and work on a proactive basis. A good cleaning company will clearly outline and delegate a cleaning schedule and training to their team.
Training cleaners onsite and supervising that the scheduled clean is being conducted as expected by the building management team is imperative to a hygienic and clean building.
Regular reporting
With technology these days, it is not difficult for cleaning companies to provide regular feedback to building managers, with issues that could be effecting the buildings cleaning progress.
At CALM property services, our supervisors conduct regular property inspections and reports to ensure the cleaning schedule is being adhered to. This report can include photos of completed work along with photos of problem areas that may arise from tenant misuse often not captured until it becomes a bigger problem.
